The Transportation Engineer will support transportation and civil infrastructure projects in Kyrgyz-Kyshtak, Kyrgyzstan. The role involves technical analysis, design development, documentation, and coordination across project stages with multidisciplinary engineering teams and project stakeholders.

- Prepare and review transportation engineering studies, geometric designs, alignment plans, profiles, cross-sections, and technical drawings.
- Support traffic, capacity, pavement, transport planning, and infrastructure assessments in accordance with applicable standards.
- Develop design calculations, quantities, cost inputs, specifications, reports, and tender documentation.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, geotechnical, environmental, surveying, and construction teams.
- Review contractor submissions, respond to technical queries, and support construction-stage engineering activities.
- Conduct site visits and inspections when required to verify existing conditions and design compliance.
- Maintain accurate project records and contribute to project delivery.
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of transportation engineering principles, road and highway design, geometric alignment, drainage interfaces, pavement systems, and traffic considerations.
- Ability to interpret surveys, topographic information, maps, specifications, and engineering drawings.
- Practical experience with CAD and transportation or civil design software.
- Familiarity with quantity takeoff and technical documentation tools.
- Competence in design calculations, engineering reports, specifications, cost estimates, and document review.
- Understanding of international engineering standards, construction methods, health and safety requirements, and quality procedures.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, coordination, and written communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and work effectively on infrastructure projects in field and office environments.
