We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support efficient purchasing and supplier coordination for infrastructure project activities in Kyrgyz-Kyshtak, Kyrgyzstan. The role will help ensure that materials, equipment, services, and subcontracted requirements are sourced competitively, documented accurately, and delivered in line with project schedules and technical specifications.
We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support efficient purchasing and supplier coordination for infrastructure project activities in Kyrgyz-Kyshtak, Kyrgyzstan. The role will help ensure that materials, equipment, services, and subcontracted requirements are sourced competitively, documented accurately, and delivered in line with project schedules and technical specifications.
- Prepare purchase requests, inquiries, bid comparisons, purchase orders, and procurement records.
- Identify, evaluate, and coordinate with local and international suppliers and subcontractors.
- Obtain quotations, negotiate commercial terms, and support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, finance, logistics, and project teams to confirm requirements.
- Track order status, delivery schedules, documentation, quality requirements, and invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain supplier databases, procurement reports, contract files, and audit-ready records.
- Support compliance with company procedures, project conditions, and applicable procurement requirements.
What we’re looking for
- Practical experience in procurement, purchasing, supply coordination, or subcontract administration, preferably within engineering or construction projects.
- Strong skills in supplier sourcing, quotation analysis, commercial negotiation, purchase order processing, and delivery follow-up.
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, bills of quantities, scopes of work, and project material requirements.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or comparable tools for procurement trackers, comparisons, reporting, and document control.
- Accurate record keeping with strong attention to pricing, quantities, lead times, contractual terms, and supporting documentation.
- Clear communication and coordination skills for working with suppliers, engineers, project managers, finance, and logistics teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work ethically in a multicultural infrastructure project environment.
